Rangers have completed the signing of Wolves forward Fabio Silva on a loan deal until the end of the season. The 21-year-old Portugese striker will join the Ibrox club on January 1 as Philippe Clement looks to bolster his attacking options. He will wear the number 7 shirt.
Clement: “I am delighted we have been able to secure the signing of Fabio - he is a highly-rated striker and it is fantastic to have him joining our squad for the remainder of the season."
Silva: "I am very happy, when I spoke to people about Glasgow and about Rangers, everyone told me good things about the club and the history.. I played here once with Porto in the Europa League, so I already know the warm club, the environment and the stadium, so everything is perfect."
Silva signed for Wolves in the summer of 2020 for £35.6 million and has made over 60 Premier League appearances for the West Midlands club; he has also had loan spells at Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven.
