Rangers beat Hearts 3-1 at Hampden Park to reach the final of the League Cup, with captain James Tavernier scoring twice - the first from the penalty spot 5 minutes into the second half and a brilliant free kick to put Rangers 3-0 up in the 64th minute.
Scott Wright scored the other Rangers goal, his first since he bagged the winner against Hearts in the 2022 Scottish Cup Final at Hampden 18 months ago.
The Ibrox club will now take on Aberdeen in the final on December 17, with the Gers looking to get their hands on the trophy for the first time since the 2010-11 season and for the 28th time overall..
